The 3 stories in the book are: The Signal-Man, The Haunted House, and The Trial for Murder. They're three short stories, but The Haunted House was the biggest of them and had 2 chapters.

But I'll get to that one in a min. I loved the signal-man. as I read it I remembered the story from TV pretty sure the 1st time was on x-files/5().

I am very glad I spotted this book. It would have been easy to overlook. Fans of Dickens will enjoy his special gift for description of character and place in each of these stories/5(83).
